THE  ZAPPAPATAMO FAMILY

The piece is based on the theme of Family:

the one we have, the one we compose for ourselves, the one we leave, the one in which the past catches up with; links which inevitably unite and tear us apart.

 

Family: a playing ground for the interaction of the ‘I’ and its quest to belong.

​

Each dancer created their own character based on their personal research regarding family. What is the role of my character within family, what do we do together? How does my character react to the arrival of a new sibling? Etc.

Questions which allowed the construction of singular stories.

 

The project is supported by the ADIAM 95 and the ‘Initiave for artists in urban dance’ (IADU)
