Formation SUDAF

SAINT LOUIS – SENEGAL

The Sunu Dance Factory initiative was developed by Roger Sarr, the artistic director of the NDAR Company. Despite a rising need for high-quality training, professional dance in Africa is frequently seen as traditional and inaccessible. By offering young dancers from West Africa a seven-month structured training program, this organisation seeks to close this gap. Sunu Dance Factory hopes to train dance instructors and choreographers while encouraging the development and sharing of artistic endeavours through the use of cutting-edge teaching techniques and partnerships with professionals. Through the combination of gender equity and community participation, this project transforms the local arts scene while also assisting participants in their professional and cultural growth. Two of the training sessions involve Emmanuel Siopathis from DK-BEL Company.
